How to reach San Simón Island

The congress organisers will offer attendees a transport service to San Simón Island from the city of Vigo, which is included in the registration fee. A catamaran will leave the Port of Vigo on the 12th, the starting day of the event, and will return on the 13th to the same point once the congress is over.

For those people who are not staying on the island, timetables and transport services will be offered between the island and Redondela, but the arrival on the island on the 12th will only be from the city of Vigo.

How to reach Vigo

By car

If you choose to travel by car, you can reach Vigo via the AP-9 highway. There are also various secondary roads and national routes connecting the city with other parts of Galicia and the rest of Spain.

By train

Vigo has two high-capacity train stations: Vigo-Urzáiz Station and Vigo-Guixar Station, which are well connected to various cities in Spain, both for medium- and long-distance trips. Through the Renfe network, there are direct links to major cities.
