The organization of the conference offers attendees the opportunity to stay directly on St. Simon Island. The accommodation will allow participants to enjoy a comfortable stay without additional logistical concerns.

There is also the option of other alternative accommodations on land. All will be communicated by boat with the island through the Port of Cesantes in Redondela.

ACOMMODATION ON ISLAND

TYPES OF ACCOMODATION
The number of accommodations within the island is limited. Individual rooms are scarce and some must share a bathroom.

Accommodation prices

Prices per person with breakfast (VAT included) are as follows:

Double room with private bathroom: 40€*.
Single room with private bathroom: 60€.
Double room with shared bathroom: 10€*.
Single room with shared bathroom: 25€*.

* Only this type of room will be allowed to be reserved for use by two people. They cannot be reserved for individual use.

APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Accommodation reservations on the island will be assigned by the Organization, prior to submission of the application form.

Allocation criteria

The allocation of rooms shall be made by the organization of Congress with the following priorities:

Members of the School of Professional Specialization in Social Economics, Cooperatives and Other Participation Organizations that present communication in academic sessions.
Research staff who present communication in academic sessions.
Members of the School of Professional Specialization in Social Economy, Cooperatives and Other Participation Organizations that attend the congress.
Students (undergraduate, master's or doctoral degrees) who present communication in academic sessions.

By 30 April 2025, the result of the application will be communicated:

In the case of accommodation granted: Instructions on the time frame and manner of making the payment will be provided. If the payment is not made within the established time, the priority right to room will be lost, which will be assigned to a person on the waiting list.
Waiting list: If there are waivers by persons to whom a room has been granted, these will be offered to persons on the waiting list, following the same allocation criteria set forth in section 1.

- Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. After that, the cost of the first night will be charged.
- Group Cancellation Policy: For bookings of 5 or more apartments, a 50% deposit of the total reservation is required 30 days in advance and is non-refundable.

For check-in and check-out, it is recommended to visit the apartment website, as there is no 24-hour reception.
